06Hey Chloe. Hey. How are you? Great. Do I get this or just you? Okay. Okay. Cool. You just you just speak yourself Do you just like just sit there and look pretty? Thank you. Is that the direction Josh gives you? All the time. That's all I says. He's the worst. No, Josh is awesome. He maybe would say that sarcastically. This better not get edited into like a weird thing where he's like Josh says she needs to sit there and look We need it right too. Exactly. So I've heard you say you don't know if you're human on the show. Yeah, no, I don't. Is it to play someone where you don't really know where the character is? What's what's lucky about that is that sky doesn't know. So I get to play sky not knowing like if sky I guess if sky didn't know and I did know that would be a little bit more tricky.

53Like for instance, we didn't find out that ward was Hydra until you know a couple weeks before we you know before it aired, I guess. I guess a couple months. But if they would have told me early on that ward was Hydra, I would have been very difficult for me to play it because I did have to shoot for about three weeks where I Chloe knew that ward was Hydra but sky didn't and then after we would shoot these scenes and we'd be like oh yeah yeah and then after we'd be like you just suck like I would be so mad you know. You've been your Hydra and I can't even it was a little bit difficult for me to see past that and I'm like you're just a liar. So yeah it's interesting it's more fun. Yeah. What else did it? Oh so the character description says you're bubbly and goofy

40but also warm edgy and witty. These are five really like different kind of traits. It's opposite ends of the spectrum. Is that what attracted you to the character? I think those words kind of describe me as well in a sense. I mean sky's way smarter and way cooler than I could ever be but she you know when I did read the breakdown to the character I was my because I originally went out for Simmons and they were clearly like well she cannot pull off the biotech thing. She's not the greatest with that dialogue because my audition for that was horrendous but then when I got the sides for a sky I actually did have a very stomach drop moment where something in me was just said this is just you need this and that happened from the

26second I read the breakdown. I remember vividly exactly where I was in my car in LA. I pulled over I was not texting him. Yeah so I want the story. Go ahead. I just I read this I read the breakdown and I instantly just needed to get in the room and then when I was in the room I totally screwed up my lines and messed up like four times and had to go in and I'd laughed and I started crying and I called my manager like I just did a horrible and I didn't even I forgot my lines and I'd that never happens and I then I you know five callbacks later or four callbacks later finally. Yeah we got the job two months later. Is that worst audition story? Do you have a worst audition story? Well this one was a pretty particularly brutal audition process you know because because I went in about six times for the role and before the show so Simmons first and Sky and

17Sky against Sky against Sky against Sky against Sky against. Actually that's a question Simmons to Sky. How did was that their idea or did you want to be like oh I really want to be on the show. That was their idea. Yeah so they saw something. Yeah I guess so and yeah so then I went in the first time and went into me Joss and Jed and Marissa we I had I was speeding to my audition and I got pulled over by the cops and I was late and sweaty and I ran in like oh my god I'm so sorry and you know I got I talked out of my ticket which was great which was I've heard you're able to do this. See this is an unfair thing. Which was a very Sky thing to do so I think they were like oh maybe she could pull off like playing Sky so I definitely see myself and Sky's kind of in her demeanor and her kind of comments that are

03maybe unnecessary at times and her she's she's socially awkward in a not awkward way which works for her and I feel I connect with that definitely. Is that a good segue to the uh oh dance? To the what I like these way. What do you mean this is an awkward at all. I love that. This is great dancing. Ask anyone. You just wait it's gonna it's gonna come back around it's gonna trend. It'll never ever ever ever look cool at that dance but. You should YouTube it. There's a song called uh oh my god. Don't waste your life on that. So oh you all. Three minutes. You have a great relationship with Clark correct on the show. I'll get back to the show for you. Oh great. Talk about crafting that relationship together because you two were so well together on screen. You know I think it that kind of happened super in a really organic way and Clark you know

53what's great about the show is we all really started out not knowing each other the characters and the actors and then throughout the series you go through much you know it's a pretty grueling shooting schedule. It's a pretty intense you know there's pressure and there's you know there's pressure on the show and there's a lot of shooting and there's a lot of intense scenes and you grow so much as an actor and he was really bare for me on screen and off screen and that sounds kind of cheesy but genuinely you know we grew every every time we did a scene where you know sky and Colson connected we connected even more in that sort of cool father daughter uncle he hates when I say father daughter but like he could be my father Clark but not like if you were really like a really good looking young father who was really cool. Yeah teen dad teen dad.

43The new show I'm sorry. Cool teen dad starring Clark I can't close any of it. But he was you know he's he's he's he's so smart and he's really helped me kind of just along the process of being on the show and growing as an actress. He's saying right yeah how do you think you've grown. We don't have our question but I think you know this was before and I did Nashville the show another show on ABC and I also did this and this was you know I'm fairly green and I think the producers really took a chance on casting me and you know there's you know there's a lot of pressure in that and he really just kind of helped me just kind of connect with the material on a way that because he has so much experience that he

28I wouldn't be able to learn from someone who was just as green as I would so I was really blessed to be able to have him kind of like well maybe you should look at it this way or maybe this is happening because of this or maybe and so he was really he's been really good like that and he's a sick dancer and rapper and baller I hope he sees this and he just calls me and it's like what are you doing. I'll let you go so we do something called five questions five questions one more answers. Okay. Stage or screen? Screen. Script or improv? In improv. Lennon or McCartney? Lennon. Film, movie or picture? Ooh. Isn't film and movie the same? They're all the same and pictures too. What turned you for? Oh I'm like what?

14Yeah I think the one I'm trying it out today. Film, movie or picture? Movie. In one word, agents of field. Marvel's agents of field. Family was the first word that came to my mind. That was good. I like family. Family was first word. Thank you. Thanks.
