04The Existy of Steel I haven't seen the movie yet Really? Now I've been shooting like a mad woman and so I haven't had chance to see it and I will see the film at the premiere on Tuesday Oh nice, okay, so you must have seen a little bit with ADR Yes You shoot something like this all green screen and everything You don't really know what's going on to Dry Sad Nothing, you are completely surrounded by green screen on kind of half of boat and good luck to you

50It's completely, you have to use your imagination and you don't know what it's going to look like so you have to have faith in the project but of course I knew the first 300 so I knew it was going to look kind of striking and dramatic and stunning Speaking of all that, you must have read this script and I can't believe we have to do some of this stuff even when you pick up, I don't want to give anything away but you can pick up a head and make up with it I do that a lot actually That's why you're in Ireland, so you don't have anything right now But honestly, looking at the script, you must have been like this is going to be a lot of fun Yeah, I mean it's so full on, you know, it's so not kind of theatrical, it's real, it's mad, you know, and it's like

41kind of a dream to behave so badly in some way kind of liberating Does the performance change in that regard? When you have to talk to a stick, essentially some of that? Actually, yeah, most of the time I had real actors to interact with which is very important but with Xerces who was so gigantic we ended up talking to a stick but he had the lines off camera so that was kind of weird because you were worried of doing too much or not enough so that was a challenge, yes 300 Sin City, back to back both kind of similar, I would assume, approaches green screen

27is there a difference? I mean the scripts are very, very different Sin City is even more green screen actually it's like, you know, there's no furniture in the room so you really, it's completely abstract but real actors, so it's really like being like on stage and it's really cool script actually, very good quality there are my characters, very funny I mean she's misbehaving a lot but she's great, she has many characters in one character yeah, she's lots of fun I love you, do someone call five questions, five quick questions, one more answers Oh god, alright script or improv? script Leonard or McCartney? Len? Hitchcock or Kubrick? Kubrick Brando or Olivier?

13Brando? In one word, 300 Rise of an Empire all that's a good one Let it be sure that we chose to die on our feet rather than live on our knees
