No, that's not true Like it or either you know like I told you before we started our recording

07I think this new album is great. Do you do you want to try and relive the success? I mean a lot of bands Strived itself just even one million records. He sold how many 16 off the yeah off the first go Do you want to try and relive that? No, I mean that would be a Pipe dream, I mean that was that was you know, we just want to keep playing you know You got me sell a record. So you think anyone 10 records are so bad or more and you know And he said half what's it like to be on the list with those kind of bands?

53I mean you have to beat all the up Michael Jackson yet hoodie in the blowfish Yeah, it's pretty wild, you know, it's pretty wild looking thing Because all the records are there to play record. Yeah, well including yours. Let's play another tune I go blind or hold my hand I go blind actually we would play it. I think we would play that. How did you get into 5440? I mean, I know they're huge up here in Canada, but are they even somewhat big in the States? You know, they got their following here. It was a college

40Oh, I love everything you played in front of Bill Clinton and you also played in front of George Bush Who's yeah, who's cooler behind the scenes? Who's a nicer guy? I don't know if you guys you know President Bush you know He's also a guy I know I got it It's not something behind the scenes with his dad running the strings and everything yeah, you know, they may be but you know

29He's got the charisma Well, we know Bush and or I should say Clinton rather with his pretending not to inhale and Bush with his co-cabets in high school Who's a who's a better party? Who's a better guy to party with? Oh, you know, I would I would love to have known So they Clinton always wanted to be president. Mm-hmm. You know, so he probably lived his life a lot longer I would have loved to put a friend of a president in college or right after college. You know the party was on You know it was odd. Oh definitely. Is it like that's still on the road for you guys? There's still a big party on the road? Yeah, we still have a guitar. Yeah, so people

17We get it every time thing but you know, I don't know if that never happens then Oh, it's good to hear you've been on stage with the band for many years now You went on stage by yourself with your solo tour for the R&B album How has that changed the way, you know that now that you're back with the band? Well, you've been back with the band for a couple of years. I guess yeah Is that changed your way at all on stage, you know after being by yourself and not having that backing group with you? You know, I think maybe I thought I could always appreciate my band But I think it made me appreciate a little bit more, you know, even though the band I had I played with when I played live With the great band great musicians, you know, you know, they can play the sweet little each other

06We know that's cool Snoop Dogg played on the R&B album. What's it like chilling with Snoop? Let's play a tune off the R&B album. What do you want to hear your choice? Oh good. It's good Wilder first time I heard how do you feel about the downloading of your music?

52Do you think it's helpful the illegal downloading I should say is it helped you or harms you more? I Think it's home to everybody every every every day. I thought we make our living You know, but you can't give man people out of the before they came out and I'm like, you know, man They want it bad enough to find it like that How can I be bad? They just want to hear your stuff and you know, maybe they'll come up to a show buy a t-shirt something like that Exactly, you know, you know, they want it that bad We give you a sentence you tell me what you think tender crisp bacon cheddar ranch I just big I just think the purple outfit song I will that's amazing. I didn't know Tupac gave it to you

07That's crazy. Yeah, Tupac and kids and bacon for the first time since the 70s You used to be a big kiss man. So big kiss man still a big kiss man. We're banished by the same guy down Yeah, I love they're they're rockin' workers on a fun. They're like rockin' with that. That's what rock will True any chance of a collaboration between to you? 7:53It was like pulling teeth to get marked a really impressive You know, it was just a different feeling and every time every time you every time they could use it I just seemed right for the situation wasn't like it tried to do it. Yeah, that worked there Cool cool. I love it. I love it. Are you bringing more musicians on stage to do it? Are you bringing like a laptop? How you guys gonna do live? Well, we've played a good little program and he had a little edge though. Oh cool. All right You have the drum machine on get out my mind. You also mentioned that song. I put on Lauren and I drank alone Is that Lauren? Yeah, are you meaning Lauren? Yeah, that's cool. There's there an actual I was it just a line that sounded cool That's the best education. That's cool. Also that song. There's a couple. There's a heart system really harsh lines

43Yeah, I remember when I said I love you too. I lied. I don't come around here. No more reminds me a Dylan I know you mentioned tangled up and blue and only want to be with you Is that like a little debt Dylan reminiscence the harshness there? Yeah, probably that that's a lot of people talking about that lot It's pretty it's fair enough I'm also on top of a state your piece the double meaning of the word piece reminds me of Beatles and please please me You know how to use that double thing there make a piece of history make your piece with history Yeah, where that'll come from how'd you start to use that? That was marks work with that old phone Now when you say mark right to Diddy right the way you're singing it to like the melody or do you come up with that on your own?

36Well, you know, you come up with a basic that they never expected me to stick to it It's fair enough some more tunes you wrote a waltz on this record. How come you decided to close out the record with it? We like clothes on we stand it to really think about it But I realize that look at the record the regency to you know close the record to put the you know The last song of the records is a cream dollar for us and the wall just seemed like the perfect way to yeah cool New single one loves got a Bob Marley title when you think of that when I think of one love at least I used to
