00Hi, I'm Allison Brie. And I'm Danny Poudin from Community. And you're watching... Emissen Exclusives! So what I love about the show, and what I love about the show even more, is that the only community can pull holiday episodes off at random times of the year. It's fantastic. We planned this. Yeah, we... We actually planned the... This was our idea. This was our idea and our plan.

45We just wanted to keep people on their toes. We want people to really question the calendar, you know? The Julian calendar, the Gregorian calendar. Do we have to celebrate? Do we need years? Do we need dates? Do we need time? What is time? What is a date? What is a month? Yeah. What are you? What are we? Why are we? What is life? When is this? You've blown my mind already. We're only like 30 seconds in. Yeah, that's what we do. What is 30 seconds? What is that? Yeah. It's a Friday time that you have on your new watch. Wow, look at that. Yeah, it's great. Anyway, so what other holiday themed episodes are we going to see at cool times of the year? We have Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is coming up. Coming up where we get to meet Jeff's dad, which has been a long time coming. It's a pretty critical popcorn. But we're not there. We're over at Shirley's house. We're not having a good time.

31Yeah, not having a good time in the episode. Doing certain things in the garage. Yeah. Can I say that? Yeah. It sounds creepy kind of when you say it like that. I don't know. It doesn't make it less true. But it's not. Yeah, it's very true. I mean, but how many non creepy things can you be doing in a garage? Homeland? Not many. Ooh. Spoiler. Spoiler. I didn't get the camera in the garage. Have you guys done a homeland thing on the show yet? Has Abed done something with homeland yet? No. Why was that a weird no? I just want to have a talk with you. You guys are so sweet together. You guys must have so much fun on sale. I do. That's weird. I just want to be better. I want to be better.

17I just want to be better. I feel like I should just throw things in. You guys can just improv as well. That's great. Cats. That's a second chance. Speaking of cats, she just showed me two cats. Your cats cuddling right there, which I'm surprised at how friendly they are together. They're brothers. But it's amazing because typically I see cats as sort of solo birds. They're just like, Aah! Not these two. Not these two. These two are like cuddle birds. Then they clean each other. They're just little dolls. They're just little babies. As cats. They're not really, and they're old. They're not babies. They're like nine. I'm going to give you this as a bracelet. I have little wrists. It's a tiny wrist. You have small ones too. So we also have a Christmas episode.

04I was going to sit here and let you guys go. I was thought it was amazing. See how long you guys could take it. Christmas with Malcolm McDowell. Which is awesome. It's really cool. It's Hitchcock inspired. Rope if you've seen that movie. Don't need to see the movie. One room, one shot kind of thing. Yes. Actually that's the idea. Actually, yeah. Oh. Check the big green and red. This is mad. This is mad. It's a item. But we do, it is like one. Well, we couldn't do the whole episode in one shot. Why couldn't we? Well, I just feel like... Who would be the first to mess up on the cast? Really? Well, okay, fine. Make me a part that already exported. There may be certain members of the cast that would have a trouble memorizing all their lines

51for an entire episode. There would be certain members of the cast. But although I'd have to say that I was impressed, I thought we were all, I think we all impressed ourselves. Even just with the first couple scenes, we did all in one shot. It was really cool. We never, we never do anything like that. So it felt like doing a play, it was like, especially I had to come in with a Gillian props. Literally a Gillian. Not a Gillian. Not a Gillian. Not a Gillian. But a Gillian. Which is... Anderson. Vigmin. That's, you don't know her. So, and then we, you know, and it's just like, once we get, you'd go all the way through the scene and then one person would enter and mess up a line. And then you're just like, AHHH! That's not her word! It was so exciting though too, because I remember clearly a scene in that episode

39where the cameras are on Joel and Jeff. He's talking to Malcolm McDowell. And all of a sudden the cameras turn and we're sitting here by the couch. And we don't realize the cameras were gonna be coming panning to us. And so we're just kind of like, then all of a sudden the cameras come towards me. Hey! Oh no! So do you want some of that? I just, I think I just started pointing in just random dragging. So I just start inhaling. Everyone. Each one of us immediately turned on our character to the thousandth degree. Which makes it kind of exciting though. Yeah. Sounds like perfect. Sounds like perfect timing for you guys to get one of your high fives in or something. It would have been. Except that we, our characters didn't have a lot to do together in the episode. No. It wouldn't have, it would not have made sense in that episode, which is probably why we should have done it. It's true.

24It's true. It's true. Have you snuck any in that you've seen so far? And I hear you guys do, well I should explain. You guys do a lot of stuff together that's not part of the script. It's true. You guys just try and have fun with. Yes. Well, we did did something in the, in the Thanksgiving episode that you saw later. We haven't seen any of the episodes. But when we go into do ADR, which is just, you know, sort of re-recording some of our lines, we get to watch pieces of the episode. And Danny sends me a video a couple days ago that he's taking on his phone. And it just says, it made it in. Look in the background. And I watch this video that's like of Yvette talking or Donald, who's like, what are you talking about? And in the background, there's Danny and I just. What are we doing? And you just see our,

10we're doing like this weird, it's sort of like a bore. It looks like a trend dance, but our arms are not up like that. They're more like, it's very limpy. It's limpy hands. It's limpy hands. It's limpy hands. Okay, you say that like it's a character I know. It's limpy hands. Yeah, I'm not supposed to do limpy hands. No, no. No, what's my character again? You try and know Troy. Wow. What just happened? So Jim Rache writes an episode this year. Yes. Using Jim Rache plays the Dean, wrote, you know, descendants or health descendants. Academy Award winner. We actually touched another Academy Award last night, by the way. Oh yeah, we on our plane right over, we rode with Michael Dan who won. Like, yeah. And we got to let us hold his Oscar. We got to take photos of the Oscar.

55It was really cool. But anyways, but yeah, Jim Rache, Academy Award winner. Other Oscar winners that we know. Yeah. Jim Rache, he wrote an episode. It's like a freaky Friday episode. Okay, super fun. So there's a body switching thing that happens. I don't know what order it is, but it's later in the year. Yeah, it's a little bit later. Whose bodies do we switch with? Can you say or not? I can't think we can say. Okay, that's fair. I bet you. Yeah. But you know, it's, it's. But log your guesses below. Yeah, go ahead. Beep, beep, beep, beep. In the comments. Beep, beep, beep. Oh, 30% here. 40% here. Put them right here. Yeah. I like that. Who do you think? Whose bodies will go nowhere? Yeah. Who's body wants to go nowhere but? Yeah. Man, it'll be a male bider. But that's really cool. And Jim really captured the essence, I think of community, which is that these weird things happen.

41It might be a sort of a theme episode, but it's grounded. Like it still happens within the reality of the show. Like anytime the group you hear that we're going to outer space and then you watch the episode and you're like, Oh, it's like Greendale goes to outer space. It's done in a way that sort of could really happen maybe. And so that's sort of how this happens as well. And you learn and it's also a significant episode for certain characters and their relationships. Could that be Annie's? For changes. No. Not so much. Annie's never going to. It's not Annie's. Oh, that's a cross that out. But I won't tell you who's. Gotcha. One word, community. High jinks. That's a good one. Antics. Antics, I like it. Thanks so much guys.
