06How you doing man? Matt nice to meet you. I'm doing great. How are you doing? Lovely. Excellent So I wonder see the humor with your character on the show is that he doesn't get a girlfriend But I want you to get a girlfriend anyway. Where are you at with it? I don't know man. Roger's just a poor guy He has to get out of his own way But the thing is if you take away a character's obstacle then the characters are funny So if he can suddenly becomes a girlfriend then what's gonna be his thing? Right so if the writers come to you and like we're thinking and you're like no no no I want the humor What other writers say I'm like sure done. Do it. You know. So is that where it starts every week you get the script? How do you how do you get into character every week? And Wednesday morning we're at the table read and we stood here six or five days We shoot on Tuesday night and we finish shooting and we get the new script and we do the next week We keep going and where are you at right now? Are you are you on a break or are you shooting this week?
53We're shooting tomorrow wish we're pre shooting tomorrow morning Non-stop, so are you gonna be partying tonight? You're gonna be out late? They give you a break. They give you a break. They told us they told us they're gonna have a They push a call a little later. So yeah, it's gonna be a lot of people. I hear from the show here tonight The writers produce as everyone's gonna party. So it's gonna be an interesting shoot tomorrow Is Jim gonna take it tonight? Oh, I hope so. He should I think he's doing, you know, I love All the actors in the category, but obviously getting to work with him It is so hard what he does to memorize those lines and to It's like poetry recite them with such precision with it in four days You know he does those in two takes he'll do two takes a scene Wow, I mean that is you know, I hope he I hope he wins as an actor I mean TV. I know you shoot quickly you work very quickly, but do you prefer to do more takes?
40Like where are you at? I like doing it if you get it, you know, I know I'm not a big believer in hammering it out Trying to get the move if you get the moon perfect. You got it. We're very quick on our show Cool man. Thank you very much. That's a look. Yeah. Oh Yeah, come on over. How are you nice to meet you? So look a little cold, but you look fantastic So we're just talking to you now. Where are you at and takes? Do you like to shoot a lot of takes on the show or are you someone who just I got it? We're good I feel like I got it that I'm good to move on As many as they want me to do how are things been on the show? I mean you've been on with the cast I guess it's been a few years now, but I still remember the show without you So what's it been like? It's just a dream I mean I watched the show and loved it before I joined the cast and I remember the first time I came out as a guest I was just so excited to be there and kind of geeked out a little bit in my dressing room
30And it's just I feel like I stepped in a big lucky pod It's the nicest group of people and the greatest group of writers and it's just been a blast Where do you hope your character goes? Is there somewhere you hope her in a decade goes? I love so much about how they write her is that there's always this unexpected This unexpected treat about her that we that we get to see like it was it came out of the booth that she didn't like children Which I loved and that she's got this temper and kind of I think at one point they said that her mother smoked prenatal cigarettes So I'm excited to see where else what other unexpected Elements of our little quarks and what not. Yeah, I love when you scream like ours mom. That's the funniest lines Best of luck with every oh wait before I let you go you guys are shooting tomorrow can I just said how how later you're gonna be partying?
19I think we'll party pretty late Last time I didn't actually come to the close that I came to the party the first year they were nominated and we danced We're a big dance party. What are your dance moves? What do you start? Dancing that happens Yeah, it's got a little bit of a trail Oh, yeah, right the way through Thank you so much. Yeah, you too appreciate
