0:00so brian thanks much for calling him and really appreciate it no problem so uh... is like a homecoming game for you yet somewhat you know i was born out there but and grew up in Ontario right so do you have really any ties to the tenor is it just kinda went when when did you move actually i'm a country was five and i think parents have some friends over there but i i don't really know anyone over there well that's okay nonetheless we were excited to have you nonetheless is an edmintonian kind of in a way so you've been playing at lanta or your career what what has been like as i mean it's not typical hockey market right no it's a bit different you know watching uh... the leaves from younger and you know kind of a couple of them you'll play down here but it's a bit different but quite you know hockey's not the biggest sport but you know i think uh... you know if we can have a good season they're going to
0:46come around we guys doing okay you're you're in the hunt right i think you're in you know i've been a pretty good season and you know i just had the failure and kind of struggle and the final ones what do you think it is i'm not sure i think you know i think we're we're playing better now the last couple games but you know i think it's just gonna it's one thing to play good something to get you know the win and uh... you know i need those two points and and uh... we need everything we can get right now has it always been center for you or were you a winger as well grown up uh... i was always center i'll come up you know i came to lana and they uh... i played great wing for you know probably two years for the most part and you know it's this year where they were they changed me back to center do you prefer it did did you miss it
1:32you know i kind of got used to playing wing it's a bit different and uh... you know i find uh... you're kind of in the rush more and you're getting more opportunities to shoot you know coming along the boards on wing but you know it's center i didn't find a big adjustment and i'm still getting a puck a lot if not more you know kind of in the neutral zone i get to carry it more which i like so hasn't been that you bet how is the change been without uh... without cobalt truck there uh... it's been tough you know i think a lot of fans were kind disappointed in obviously it's hard to lose kind of your your star player and a guy that puts up that many goals is it's gonna hurt you know i think you know i think we're more balanced now i think you know we've kind of got a bunch of guys i can score goals and guys are having off nights or in a bit of a slump i think
2:17you know there's other guys i can pick up the slack bit who's been the biggest surprise on the team for you that uh... that has picked up the slack besides yourself of course uh... i think buss buss been unbelievable for us this year and uh... he was in a bit of a slump lately but he got a nice goal last game and it was only a matter of time with how how good he is and how good of a shot he has it's only a matter of time before he has had again you know it's the same with laddies and the name of the mark captain you know for a reason he's a leader and you know he's also been our top one of our top score is this year so he's been great too how is it compared to uh... to playing in world juniors because i've been talking a lot of the younger guys recently who are in their uh... their first season i think we had tyler and us on a few weeks ago he was saying he playing juniors it was very different from playing in the nhl but world juniors kind of put it on par a little bit just because the competition is so fierce in
3:05that yeah i'd say the speed is a lot closer to it you know it's a very fast term and and uh... the speed is unbelievable i think uh... when you get to the pro is and you know playing against older kind of smarter guys there's i think there's more mistakes kind of engineers you know you haven't matured like that where it's about so now you know you don't see many mistakes in the nhl and when i do happen it usually results in a goal so that's the biggest thing what uh... what are your fondest memories of the world juniors i know probably just you know being with being with our group of guys for a couple weeks you know you're pretty still see in touch with them and you know it's funny play with those guys and on that team in one gold and now you get to play against them you know a lot of those guys who play with around a league and play against them all times so
3:52pretty fun do you get to throw in a little extra little jabber little elbow in from time of the guys you know yeah i think i think so i think you know it's all good it's uh... you know you go you go really close couple weeks and you know it's you're glad to even do well on other teams and others level we do something on the show called five questions five quick questions one word answers or gratzki or how gratzki lennon or mccartney crossby or ovechican crossby proudest moment hockey world-jinger gold medal cool and in one word brian little f
