0:00this is kind of like a homecoming game for you here in the oilers yeah and i i grew up watching the oilers and drop off the damage until about fifteen i was good to uh... get to all better or play against uh... one of the team does the family come out and everyone come out for you and bring your friends from high school and everything yeah it try to keep in touch with that you know i'm i left right before high school right sorry nine so you know i kept in touch with a few people but not too many but that the family friends out there my mom came out now last year got to see that the friends and come to the game and stuff like that but uh... they reside in the interior now yeah my ties are a little little less now than before but uh... you know it's all i still consider it home when uh... after you grow up there tonight to go see some uh... familiar places and faces so yeah for sure

0:48last time you played uh... you play them into nineteen penalty minutes in nine minutes on the ice it's amazing yeah uh... tell me that he's going to be some people the others have a pretty gritty team uh... that's kind of my style of play that play hard and that's just the way that the game evolved what do you think after what lemue said on fighting the other day of if it's if this is the state of the angeles and if you want to be involved with it right now i mean that was uh... he was a he was referring to the islanders game right right yeah exactly yeah that that was a bit uh... a blowout and you know you don't really like to see that but um... now i think there is definitely time for fighting in the sported i don't think it should be going extinct at all uh... but but i think there are there are some guidelines that need to be followed maybe a little more stricter or a follow-up i just could have been in place like that are kind of

1:37a little too much do you chat with players before after a no joke george lerock would say like good luck and and talk to the guys and kind of joke around her is it like a ufc where you just you gotta go in there and and be all tough and and not be fun with it where where would you talk to the players well before and be like ready to go you want to do this kind of with a smile maybe yeah now that's definitely not me now you know you get really angry i i i i i don't you know that the stage fighting is one thing i i i i kind of trying to stay away from that i think uh... the fighting it should be part of the game when it's an emotional part of the game and uh... it's something with a purpose but uh... i think it's or is the rock and you know hopefully kind of different players i mean he was uh... true heavyweight and uh... you know a very very good fighter where it's like

2:24i'm playing the game and playing it with you know a motion sticking up my teammates and that's kind of how my fights um... come about not so much as you know uh... states stand their square off and fight like that you like you said that you have to see standing you know i i i see fighting hockey is like where you're doing it for it with with a reason and when you're involved in the game not so much just as uh... like like i said like a staged fight was being traded like for you it was an exciting time or was it because i know you know you got to pick up and move and and it's a whole new life right to move from san jose to to many apples yeah it was it was definitely a change on them at first i was a little shocked but then he hit that point where you're like you know what i'm going to a new team in the organization and uh... you know they signed me to a two to your contract in the solo so i was really excited about that

3:10and getting here to get to meet uh... the new guys in the coaches it was great um... and so far it's been a good experience i mean kind of lucky with when you get traded going to a new city but you're also going there with you know twenty-some of the guys are on there for the same reason to so it was kind of sad to be found out that i enjoyed it there with a great team there uh... but but you know this is a turn of my career and uh... it's been good so far you guys are in the playoff on the there's a lot of the western seems to be is about eighteen spying for like seven different spots right now what uh... what do you guys need to trade deadline looming what do you think minnesota needs uh... i'm not sure we need i think right now if you watch we played over last month or so it seems like we're really found our game in coming into our own and we're starting to make this push you know it's tough to say we were there's nights when you know our back end

3:57the little little back a little shine then there's times when we just can't seem to score goal of pran soy i don't know if we're going to really be out looking for i think it's more internal here in the minnesota and you know it's something that we've done agreement will make this push will make a lot like i said last month or the way our games come we really come into our own and you know hopefully we can keep pushing that and uh... get a birth in the playoffs we do something on the show called five questions five quick questions one more answers toughest guy to scrap with lennon or mccourtney all-time guy that you'd want to go to toe with who that's a tough one what about the guy about lennon buyers maybe i may have one of the one o'clock to all one of our city was a beauty uh... proudest moment in the n h l first goal

4:43and in one word brad stavitz great
